Angry birds!

In the past couple of months there has been this game om my cell phone that has taken many hours of my life. Usually I would say this is Tetris but no it is in fact Angry Birds. Angry Birds is a flash based game created by Rovio for Apple and Android devices. In this game there is a group of birds who get their eggs stolen by some pigs. The birds go out on a vengeance and attack the pigs.
The game play is fairly simple you have birds in a sling shot and you aim them at structures that the pigs built.

Different birds have different specials and work better in certain situations.
At home there are two versions of this game that I play. The Apple version and the Android version. The game play and story is exactly the same but on my Android device this game LAGS!! And when I say lags it is horrible. (worse than the Tekken 6 loading screen)
Sometimes I won't even touch my phone because I knwo I want to play it but don't want to deal with it.

I am taking all General Education classes except Photography. I am excited being in school even though I love being at conventions more. When I am at conventions people know me I am loud and proud having fun! When I am at school I am a geek. I sit alone in the corner somewhere reading my manga or on a computer. Hopefully I will become closer to all of you guys who read my blog. For now I will leave you with this short post since I have a lot of getting ready to do!

Kore wa Zombie desu ka? Episode 1 Review.

I started looking at the new spring animes and this one caught my eye just from the title. I love zombies so why not give it a try. The creators must have sneaked into my brain and saw everything I loved and put it into an anime. There is a zombie, magical girl, a PINK chainsaw!! I have to emphasize the pink in there, There might be an idol in there, fan service... What more can I ask for. And mind you this is just the first episode. This is for sure one of the animes I will be keeping up with this season.Kore wa zombie desu ka means Is this a zombie, has a light novel and a couple mangas. Now it has become and anime. Which I am soo glad it did.
The story starts off with Aikawa Ayumi who is the zombie in the story but he goes to school like a normal boy. You find out later that he was killed by a serial killer and has a vengeances to find his killer. He lives with a necromancer named Eucliwood Hellscythe who brought him back from the dead for reasons unknown. One night he is out and about when he runs into a magical girl. Some how he takes her magical powers without trying and now has become a zombie male magical girl.
Oh and did I mention the magical girl uses the chainsaw I mentioned earlier.. XD
I might even think of cosplaying her too. Maybe not this year since I have soo many already.

~~~Is there an anime you want me to write about? Leave me a comment and I will work on it just for you!~~~~~
Abunai Kawaii
I thought today I should talk a little but about my own idol group Abunai Kawaii. We have been low on the radar since we got together because as soon as Mei the head maid of Ichigo Cafe saw me and Kiyoko perform she wanted us in her maid cafe. From 2008 to 2010 AK has been apart of Ichigo Cafe and all of performances were done within the cafe with our maid sisters. Yukka who is our newest third member joined the maid cafe just before it's hiatus. She is such an amazing dancer and was a big fan too. She was a perfect addition to the idol group.
Now it is 2011, our big year to get into gear. WE all made our own blogger just for the 3 of us.
We used to all have separate blogs but I believe this makes it easier for all our fans to read about what we are doing in our lives and what we have planed for the group.
We have a couple of conventions coming up in Las Vegas that we will be performing at/working at. (I will post those up later! )
I am so excited to be visiting everyone again. Moving away from AK has been so hard on me but we work hard everyday so when we get together our performances really show all our love.
I have some people "attack" us for not really understanding what we represent. Many American otakus only see the famous glamorous idols and not the small Akiba-kei idols who perform on the streets of Akihabara. We are not looking for fame
or money. Not even popularity. We are doing this because we love dancing and singing and most of all we love our anime community. Me personally, I have had a tough life and have always dreamed of becoming a pop star. This is kinda like my dream coming true. In that retrospective I want others to see that no matter what your dreams are they can come true. So I am not a rich diva or anything, I still get to go on a stage and perform for people who matter, and to me that is all I need to consider my dream fulfilled.
I am excited for all the new adventures this year will take us! For more information on my AK sisters check out the link above for our joint blog.
~~ Is there something you want to see me write about? Just mention in the comments and I will get on writing it. Love, Your local idol.~~~
K-pop goes J-pop?
I started to listen to a group call SNSD short for So Nyeo Shi Dae or Girls Generation. I love all their songs and even learned a lot of the dance routines, but I dislike how now I want to learn a whole new language just so I can sing a long or understand the songs. The J-pop gods (yes I believe in J-pop gods) answered my prayers and thus Shojo Jidai was created!
Actually the girls signed a contract with Universal music and now have 3 or more Japanese remakes of their original Korean songs.
What was srange to me is that they slightly changed the dances when converting the songs. So now I have new dances to learn.
Korean Gee:
Japanese Gee:
I love being able to hear both versions but now I can actually sing a long! Which version do you guys like? I would love to hear your ideas in the comments below.
Also what do you think of K-pop bands crossing over to J-pop?
K-pop and J-pop have two different feels and images to them and I just see it weird if the both start to blend together. Though a lot of American J-pop fans are now going towards K-pop it might also be the same in Japan. What does this mean for J-pop. I hope J-pop stays strong!
